actually a chemist, but drawn into the world of perfume by chance. trips to england and australia to learn english were paid by casual jobs within the perfume industry. landi took his decision - he wanted to become a perfumer. his training took him to h&r in holzminden; his career to new york, paris, tokyo, hamburg and vienna. today he resides in germany, homeland of his choice.
landi’s perfumes are opulent, complex and composed as grand opera for the nose. origin of his love of the sensual might have been his childhood on the italian riviera, but today he seeks his inspiration mostly from far-off places, especially from the scents of arabia.
